Having worked within the business sector for many years, Anne later trained in Holistic Health specialising in the fields of Psychotherapy, Hypnotherapy, EMDR and CBT. Anne is a UKCP Registered Practitioner which means she has trained for 8 years in the field and is insured and supervised via this organisation. As a qualified therapist she is fully insured and must undertake regular supervision and undergo continuous ongoing professional development to ensure she updates her skills and remains ‘fit to practise’.
Anne is a provider for a number of health organisations and employee assistance programmes including AXA PPP and Bupa. Anne is registered with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy and the NRHP and works according to the ethical guidelines of these associations and that of the BACP. She is registered with the ISO data protection agency and holds an enhanced DBS (CRB) disclosure. Anne is a trained Personal and Professional Coach accredited with the IAPC&M.
Anne began her career working in the media but was later drawn to working with people and became interested in therapy work. She has a particular interest in helping clients to build confidence and assertiveness skills and provides self development training in these skills. In addition to her therapy and coaching work, Anne is also a writer, broadcaster and trainer.
Anne is also an Author, Broadcaster and Trainer. She received 2 awards from GHP Magazine in 2018 ‘Most Innovative Therapist and Coach’ and ‘Recognised Leader in Psychotherapy.
